Custom cabinetry and joinery for residential and commercial clients is the focus of this Cabinet Maker role in Brisbane. You would turn detailed designs into finished kitchens, laundries, wardrobes and bespoke pieces on a permanent production team, using modern machinery such as CNC routers, panel saws, beam saws and edge banding equipment.
The business wants a qualified tradesperson who reads technical drawings confidently and cares about accuracy, with a little on-site installation when required.

Key Responsibilities
- Build custom cabinetry and joinery to project specifications, including kitchens, laundries, wardrobes and bespoke pieces
- Work from technical drawings, plans and production documents
- Measure and prepare materials accurately for production
- Run CNC routers, panel saws, beam saws, edge banding equipment and other automated woodworking machinery
- Assemble cabinetry and joinery components precisely
- Check quality as production goes and make sure finished products meet standards of finish and presentation
- Spot manufacturing issues and adjust accordingly
- Help with on-site installation when needed
- Keep tools, equipment and work areas in good condition and follow workplace health and safety requirements
- Work with production and installation colleagues and complete assigned work efficiently without compromising quality
Requirements & Eligibility
- A relevant Cabinet Making trade qualification or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of practical cabinet making experience
- Experience producing custom cabinetry, in residential and/or commercial joinery manufacturing
- Hands-on CNC machinery experience
- Able to read and understand technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of cabinet construction and manufacturing processes
- Accurate, detail-focused and consistent in the quality of your workmanship
- A reliable, responsible and professional approach
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Experience with premium residential or commercial joinery is advantageous
- Overseas applicants must meet applicable Australian migration requirements
