Perth construction sites have steady brickwork, and this Bricklayer role is for qualified tradespeople who can show recognised qualifications and practical skill on residential and commercial jobs. You would set out, lay and finish brickwork to line and level, working beside supervisors and other trades to keep projects on schedule.
The business assesses qualifications and experience before moving ahead, and sponsorship is available for suitable candidates following that assessment of qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Read building plans, drawings and project specifications, and set out brickwork accurately before construction starts
- Lay bricks and blocks to the required lines, levels and specifications
- Mix mortar to the right consistency
- Check alignment and accuracy with spirit levels and measuring tools
- Cut bricks with trade machinery and equipment
- Finish brickwork with a strong eye on quality, and fix alignment or workmanship problems
- Follow construction procedures and workplace safety requirements
- Work alongside supervisors and other trades
- Look after your tools, equipment and work area, and complete assigned tasks on schedule
Requirements & Eligibility
- A recognised Bricklaying trade qualification, minimum Certificate III or equivalent
- Professional bricklaying experience that you can demonstrate
- Strong practical knowledge of residential and commercial construction
- Able to read and understand construction plans
- A proven record of accurate, consistent brickwork
- Competent with brick cutting equipment, levels and measuring tools
- An understanding of construction workplace health and safety practices
- A reliable, professional and committed approach to work
- Able to work independently and within a construction team
- Physically capable of performing bricklaying duties, and able to provide evidence supporting relevant qualifications and work experience
