Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional haircuts, fades and contemporary barbering services
- Use strong technical skills to get accurate, consistent results
- Offer beard trimming, shaping and grooming
- Talk through what each client wants and suggest suitable styles
- Give every client a welcoming, professional visit and build lasting relationships
- Hold high standards of precision, presentation and workmanship
- Keep workstations and equipment clean and hygienic, following health, safety and hygiene procedures
- Manage appointments and finish services efficiently
- Keep up with current barbering styles, techniques and trends
- Work well with the rest of the team and help create a positive shop atmosphere
- Be reliable on attendance, with a strong work ethic
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven professional experience as a Barber
- Strong practical ability in cutting and fading
- Demonstrated experience with beard grooming and styling
- Consistently produces high-quality barbering results
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Professional attitude and presentation
- Excellent attention to detail, and a reliable, motivated approach with commitment to quality
- Comfortable working both independently and within a team
- Relevant barbering qualification or demonstrable industry experience
- Able to verify relevant qualifications, experience and trade capability
- Australian work rights or eligibility for an appropriate work visa
