You can expect a full mix of work, from precise cuts to colour, styling and grooming for men, all delivered to a high standard inside a modern salon with air-conditioning. You will help every client leave happy and keep to the salon's health and hygiene rules. Because the salon is an accredited employer, visa sponsorship is available if required for a suitable candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Talk through each client's ideas for their cut, colour and style, including beards and other grooming for men
- Shape, taper and trim hair with professional clippers, scissors and razors, then style the result
- Offer beard and moustache tidy-ups, wet shaves and hot towel treatments
- Look after hair and scalp with shampoo, conditioner and treatments, and suggest products and home care to keep each style looking good
- Handle colour work (tints, highlights, bleach, colour removal) and chemical services for perms, relaxing and straightening, finishing with blow dryers, straighteners, curling irons and styling products
- Keep the salon's tools, equipment and work areas clean and sanitised to its hygiene and health and safety standards, and look after appointments, the schedule and payments when needed
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum of two (2) years' full-time experience as a Hairdresser or Barber
- Proven technical skill across haircutting, colouring, styling and men's grooming
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong focus on serving customers
- Ability to work efficiently and cooperatively within a team, with sound knowledge of salon hygiene and safety practices
