An established barbershop team in Brisbane, Queensland wants a Barber with a minimum of 3 years' professional experience. The work is classic chair time: men's cuts, skin and taper fades, beard trims and finishing for a varied client base.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver barbering services at a steady, professional standard
- Cut men's hair, including skin fades and taper fades, trim beards and style and groom clients
- Talk through what each client wants and suggest the right style
- Make every client feel welcome and looked after
- Build repeat custom through reliable service
- Clean and prepare tools, equipment and the work area
- Follow hygiene, health and safety rules and present well
- Support fellow barbers and the wider team
- Join training and coaching, and bring new techniques and trends into daily services
- Work towards agreed performance and service targets
- Share ideas that improve the client experience
- Step up into leadership and more responsibility when the chance comes
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 3 years of professional barbering experience
- Hands-on experience in a commercial barbering setting that you can demonstrate
- Strong technical skill in men's haircuts, fades, styling and beard grooming
- Barbering experience that is genuine and can be verified
- Good understanding of professional barbering standards and client service
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional presentation and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
- Reliable and responsible at work
- Willing to keep training and building skills
- Able to adapt to different client preferences and current barbering trends
- Real ambition to progress in the barbering industry; employment history that supports your experience and ability to meet applicable Australian employment requirements
