A food business in Adelaide is looking for a qualified Baker with proper commercial bakery experience. You would produce breads and sweet yeast products on modern equipment, working with a team that already knows the routine.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce breads and sweet yeast goods to commercial standards
- Weigh and mix ingredients precisely, working to the recipes, baking methods and production routines
- Operate industrial ovens and other commercial bakery machines safely
- Keep an eye on each bake so quality stays even
- Get through the day's preparation, baking and packing list
- Hold standards steady when the pace picks up and deadlines are tight
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
- Keep the bakery floor clean, tidy and efficient
- Pitch in with the bakery team to reach production targets
- Lift and carry ingredients and finished products safely, up to 25kg, and keep day-to-day operations smooth
Requirements & Eligibility
- Commercial baking experience you can demonstrate, including hands-on work in a bakery or food production setting
- Certificate III in Baking preferred
- Practical experience using industrial ovens and commercial bakery equipment
- Knowledge of baking methods, recipes and production processes
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements
- Able to keep product consistency and quality
- Able to start early shifts from approximately 2:00am
- Good physical stamina and able to lift up to 25kg
- Reliable transport and a current and valid driver's licence
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Able to work cooperatively in a professional bakery team
- Valid Australian work rights or eligibility for an appropriate visa
- Supporting evidence of your qualifications and relevant work experience, and willingness to work in South Australia
