For Malaysians in the motor trade, kerja luar negara can begin in an Adelaide workshop that is hiring qualified Automotive Technicians and Diagnostic Technicians. Accessory Fitters and 3rd or 4th Year Light Vehicle Apprentices are wanted as well, so there is room for different experience levels.
The jobs are full-time and permanent. Day to day you will service and repair light vehicles, trace faults with diagnostic gear and fit accessories to a steady standard. Employer sponsorship is on offer to suitably qualified overseas applicants who meet Australian visa requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Service, repair and maintain light vehicles on a regular schedule
- Trace mechanical, electrical and electronic faults with diagnostic equipment
- Inspect vehicles, work out the repairs needed and complete them to manufacturer specifications and workshop standards
- Fit accessories such as bull bars, tow bars, canopies, roof racks, lighting and other aftermarket products, following the manufacturer's fitting instructions and quality procedures
- Keep the workshop clean, safe and tidy, and follow workplace health and safety policies
- Deliver careful workmanship and good service to customers
- Work with workshop colleagues and management to keep jobs moving efficiently
- Join manufacturer training and keep building your skills
Requirements & Eligibility
- Qualified as an Automotive Technician or Diagnostic Technician, or currently in the 3rd or 4th Year of a Light Vehicle Apprenticeship
- Experience as an Accessory Fitter, or strong mechanical aptitude for fitting accessories
- An automotive qualification or apprenticeship that suits the position
- Experience servicing and repairing light vehicles
- Able to diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical faults
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic, working well both independently and in a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Current driver's licence, or able to obtain an Australian driver's licence
