Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on heavy mobile equipment
- Track down and fix complex electrical and electronic system faults
- Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing programs
- Repair and look after automotive air conditioning systems
- Check how equipment is performing and offer technical recommendations
- Use strong troubleshooting to keep equipment downtime down
- Work to Australian workplace safety standards on all maintenance tasks
- Keep service documentation and repair records accurate
- Deliver reliable, professional field service and help the team lift service quality and operational efficiency
Requirements & Eligibility
- A qualified Auto Electrician holding recognised trade certification
- Practical experience on heavy vehicles, mining equipment or mobile plant
- A strong background in electrical fault finding and diagnostic processes
- Air conditioning system experience is preferred
- Able to interpret electrical diagrams and technical information
- Current driver's licence
- Able to meet required site medical and workplace requirements
- Good English communication skills for workplace safety and reporting
- Able to work independently while contributing effectively within a team, with a commitment to safe work practices and high-quality workmanship
- Applicants must have verifiable trade experience and employment history
