Sydney is hiring Air Conditioning Technicians and HVAC tradespeople who can show real hands-on skill, relevant qualifications and a steady work history. You will install and service systems, trace faults and keep ongoing HVAC maintenance running for a professional operation that values quality workmanship and dependable service.

Key Responsibilities
- Fit, service and look after air conditioning and HVAC systems of every kind, from split and ducted units to commercial plant
- Check equipment carefully and work out whether an electrical, mechanical or refrigeration fault is behind the problem
- Handle planned servicing and preventative maintenance, and when a unit fails, repair it and return it to safe operating condition
- Take care of refrigerant recovery, charging and leak detection to the required standards
- Test how each system performs and make adjustments so it runs efficiently
- Stick to established safety procedures and industry requirements on every site
- Log servicing, repairs and faults accurately through the required systems
- Cooperate with fellow technicians, supervisors, clients and other trades
- Behave professionally as a representative of the business
- Keep your tools, equipment and work areas organised and compliant
Requirements & Eligibility
- Trade qualification in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, HVAC or a related discipline
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant practical HVAC or air conditioning experience preferred
- A background in installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems
- Strong troubleshooting, fault-finding and diagnostic ability
- Genuine, verifiable technical experience, plus supporting qualification and employment documentation
- Good grasp of workplace safety, electrical safety and HVAC maintenance procedures
- Works independently and contributes positively to a professional team
- Commercial, industrial or specialised air conditioning experience is advantageous
- Refrigeration systems and refrigerant handling experience is advantageous
- Electrical controls, wiring and HVAC control systems experience is advantageous
- Breakdown and preventative maintenance experience is advantageous
- Passes required drug and alcohol screening where applicable, and agrees to identity, qualification and employment verification
- Strong customer service and communication skills
