The jobs cover commercial air conditioning, coolrooms, freezer rooms, ventilation, chilled water systems and catering equipment, so you get real range in a structured Australian setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, service and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Trace and diagnose faults in air conditioning and refrigeration equipment
- Handle preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
- Put in and look after coolrooms and freezer rooms, plus the refrigeration equipment around them
- Fit and maintain ventilation for commercial and industrial buildings, including kitchen exhaust and specialist jobs
- Service commercial catering and kitchen equipment
- Support chilled water system installs, servicing and maintenance
- Test and commission systems and check their performance
- Pinpoint mechanical, electrical and refrigeration faults
- Refer to technical documentation, drawings and equipment specs while working
- Keep service records and job paperwork accurate
- Team up with technicians and project crews on commercial and industrial sites
- Follow Australian workplace health and safety procedures
- Keep growing your technical knowledge through hands-on work and training
Requirements & Eligibility
- Qualification relevant to the role: Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, HVAC, Electrical or a related trade
- Hands-on time in commercial or industrial settings
- Employment history that is genuine, relevant to the position and verifiable
- Evidence to back up your qualifications, trade experience and technical skills
- Solid grasp of HVAC, refrigeration or associated mechanical systems
- Practical fault-finding and diagnostic ability
- Comfortable working alone or within a professional technical team
- Serious about workplace safety and quality workmanship; good communication and problem-solving
- Keen to pick up Australian workplace practices and keep developing professionally
- People with mechanical, maintenance, construction or manufacturing backgrounds and transferable skills may also be considered
- Able to get through the relevant skills and employment verification process and meet applicable Australian employment and visa requirements
